Your Sculpted Harmony pieces are durable stoneware with food-safe glazes, built for everyday use. A little care keeps them beautiful for years.
🍴 Dishwasher
Yes, dishwasher safe. The top rack is gentler — hand washing extends the life of the glaze.
♨️ Microwave
Yes, unless the listing notes metallic or luster details. Quick test: heat the empty piece for 10 seconds — if the pottery itself gets hot, keep it out of the microwave.
🌡️ Thermal shock
Avoid extreme temperature swings. Don’t move a piece from freezer to hot oven, or pour boiling water into a cold mug — let it come to room temperature first.
☕ Staining
Matte or unglazed surfaces can absorb tea, coffee, and oils over time. Rinse or hand wash promptly after use to keep them looking new.
🪵 Washing
Mild dish soap and a soft sponge are all you need. Skip abrasive scouring pads on matte or satin glazes.
⚠️ Chips & cracks
If a piece chips through the glaze or develops a crack, retire it from food use — bacteria can hide where glaze is broken. It’ll still make a fine planter or pencil holder.
Every piece is made with lead-free, food-safe glazes.
Shipping & FAQ
📦 Shipping
Shipping is free — it’s already included in every price, so the price you see is the price you pay. Each piece is handmade and kiln-fired: once your piece comes out of the kiln, I’ll notify you — then it ships within 3–5 days via USPS Priority (typically 2–3 business days in transit). Currently shipping within the United States.
💔 Arrived broken?
Send a photo of the damage within 7 days of delivery and I’ll make it right — a replacement if I have a similar piece, or a full refund. I’ll handle the carrier claim; you don’t have to deal with USPS.
↩️ Returns
All sales are final. Every piece is handmade and one-of-a-kind, so I don’t accept returns for change-of-mind. If your piece arrives broken, that’s different — see Arrived broken? and I’ll make it right.
❓ Is it food safe?
Yes — every glaze I use is lead-free and food-safe. See pottery care for dishwasher, microwave, and everyday use.
🎨 Why does mine look slightly different?
Every piece is handmade — small variations in size, shape, and glaze are the signature of the process, not a flaw. No two are exactly alike.
✨ Personalization
Many pieces can be personalized with a name, date, or short message. Message me before ordering to arrange it.
