1. Introduction & Acceptance
Welcome to sculptedharmony.com (“Sculpted Harmony,” “we,” “us”), a handmade pottery studio based in Pennsylvania, run by Christina Phillips. These Terms of Service govern your purchases and use of this website. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t place an order.
2. Handmade Products
Each piece is individually thrown, trimmed, glazed, and kiln-fired by hand. Expect small variations in size, shape, color, and glaze pattern — no two pieces are exactly alike, and the piece you receive may differ slightly from website photos. All glazes used are lead-free and food-safe. Follow the pottery care guidance for everyday use.
3. Pricing
All prices are in U.S. Dollars and include shipping — the price you see is the price you pay. Prices may change at any time; the price at checkout applies to your order. We reserve the right to cancel any order placed at an incorrectly listed price, with a full refund.
4. Order Fulfillment & Shipping
Because every piece is kiln-fired to order or in small batches: once your piece comes out of the kiln, I’ll notify you — then it ships within 3–5 days via USPS Priority (typically 2–3 business days in transit). I currently ship within the United States only. Each piece is packed with care for safe transit.
5. Returns, Refunds & Damage
All sales are final. Because every piece is handmade and one-of-a-kind, I don’t accept returns for change of mind.
Arrived broken? That’s different. Send a photo of the damage within 7 days of delivery and I’ll make it right — a replacement if I have a similar piece, or a full refund if I don’t. I’ll handle the carrier claim; you don’t have to deal with USPS.
6. Personalization
Many pieces can be personalized with a name, date, or short message. Message me before ordering to arrange it — personalized pieces are also final sale, and personalization may add time before your piece enters the kiln.
7. Book a Session
Private pottery lessons and group sessions are booked through the Book a Session page and personally confirmed. Finished pieces from your session are kiln-fired, glazed, and ready for pickup in approximately 2–3 weeks. If you need to reschedule, message me as early as possible and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.
8. Payments
Checkout is processed securely through Stripe. I never see or store your full card details — payment information goes directly to Stripe under Stripe’s Privacy Policy. By submitting payment, you confirm you’re authorized to use the payment method.
9. Intellectual Property
All photos, text, designs, and branding on this site are the property of Sculpted Harmony. You may not reproduce or reuse them without written permission. Purchased pottery is yours to enjoy — the designs themselves remain mine.
10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
Products are provided “as is.” While every glaze I use is lead-free and food-safe and every piece is made with care, I can’t guarantee against damage in transit (see Section 5), normal wear, or misuse contrary to the care guidance. To the maximum extent permitted by law, my total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the piece(s) at issue.
11. Privacy
How I collect and use your information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
13. Changes to These Terms
I may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted here with an updated date, and continued use of the site after changes means you accept them.
