1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Sculpted Harmony (“I,” “me”), a handmade pottery studio in Pennsylvania run by Christina Phillips, collects and uses information through sculptedharmony.com. By using this site, you agree to the practices described here. Also see our Terms of Service.
2. Information We Collect
- Order information: When you buy a piece, checkout happens on Stripe’s secure pages. Stripe collects your name, email, shipping address, and payment details to process the order and arranges for me to receive what I need to fulfill it (your name, email, shipping address, and what you ordered). I never see or store your full card number.
- Email list: If you join the “new pieces” list, I collect your email address through the signup form. One email at a time, no spam, ever — and you can unsubscribe anytime.
- Messages: If you message me on Instagram about an order, personalization, or a session, I keep that conversation to serve you.
- Usage data: Basic, anonymous information about site visits (pages viewed, browser type) may appear in standard server logs. I run no analytics trackers.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To fulfill your order — including kiln notifications, shipping, and delivery;
- To handle damage claims, replacements, and refunds;
- To confirm and coordinate Book a Session lessons;
- To send new-piece announcements, only if you joined the list;
- To respond to your messages and questions;
- To comply with tax and legal record-keeping requirements.
I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Ever.
4. Cookies
sculptedharmony.com does not set cookies, run analytics, or use advertising trackers. When you check out, you’ll be on Stripe’s secure pages, which are governed by Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
5. Sharing Your Information
I share information only as needed to run the shop:
- Stripe — payment processing (see their Privacy Policy);
- USPS — your shipping address, to deliver your piece;
- Website hosting — our host (Netlify) serves the site and processes email-list signups;
- Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or to protect my rights.
6. Data Retention
Order records are kept as required for tax and accounting (generally at least 7 years). Email-list addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Messages are kept as long as useful for customer service, then deleted.
7. Your Rights & Choices
You can ask me at any time to see, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you — just message me on Instagram at @sculpted_harmony. Unsubscribe from the email list anytime via the link in any email. I’ll respond within 30 days.
8. Children’s Privacy
This shop is intended for adults. I don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. (Kids’ pottery content lives on our sister site’s Clay Club — free family videos, no accounts needed.)
9. Data Security
Payments go through Stripe’s PCI-compliant checkout — your card details never touch my servers. I take reasonable steps to protect the information I do hold, but no online transmission is 100% secure.
10. Changes to This Policy
I may update this Policy as the shop grows. The current version will always be posted here with an updated date.
